This adaptable interface accommodates varying heights, wheelchair users, and other assistive devices, ensuring inclusivity for all patients.

UX Phase
User Flow

Accessibility

The interactive menu system was designed with inspiration from the environment and semi-realistic physics. To ensure accessibility for users of all ages, heights, and mobility levels, we created a bubble-inspired interface that can be freely moved across the entire wall.
Sea Friends
Patients are invited to create their own virtual Sea Friend, a customizable companion designed to accompany them through their treatment journey. With a diverse array of options available, patients can personalize their Sea Friend to reflect their individual preferences, even incorporating medical accessories like tracheostomies, wheelchairs, and more. The Sea Friend feature not only provides entertainment but also facilitates data tracking for each child's emotional state and progress.

Sea Games
The PICU Diversion Wall features a suite of activities tailored to enhance memory, coordination, and emotional well-being. These include Feed Your Sea Friend, a memory-strengthening exercise; Exercise Your Sea Friend, a dynamic maze challenge; Encourage Your Sea Friend, a mood-boosting interaction; and Sea Swim, an endless runner-style game that promotes motor skills.
